NewsLifeMedia revamps Taste.com.au and Vogue.com.au
New Limited’s home and lifestyle arm NewsLifeMedia has spruced up the online destinations for its food magazine Taste and fashion offering Vogue.
The new websites, taste.com.au and vogue.com.au were relaunched by communications agency Profero, and follow a series of significant staff changes and at the publisher.
Profero Australia managing partner Stuart Edwards said: “Embedding our teams on-site allowed a complete immersion in the client environment that has already led to greater user engagement and improvement in the brand experience for both vogue.com.au and taste.com.au.”
The old taste site is way better. Also this creative personality and attention to detail on both sites is horrible.

I would have to say after using both of the sites mentioned above for the last two weeks I’m shocked that ‘NewsLifeMedia’ allowed these sites to go live. The original Taste was easy to use and allowed the imagery to shine, now I cannot help but to think GREEN GREEN GREEN and the old Vogue seemed to be clutter free and actually have typography that reflected a fashion site. The art direction on both of these sites is horrible and feels like it has placed some of NewsMedia’s top shelf sites back 5 years. I’m not sure I would be looking to PR this… Vogue is one of the proudest most stylish publications in Australian and the creative direction on this site is a shocker.
