Nick Cummins gets naked in The Iconic’s first menswear campaign

Rugby union player Nick Cummins is the star of online retailer The Iconic’s first campaign designed solely to promote its mens wear range, ‘For The Man Within’.

Cummins, known also as ‘the honey badger’, stars in a series of comical spots, including ‘exclusive director’s cuts’ of the football icon stripping naked in photo shoots and announcing that naked is the more “comfy” and “natural” option.

The campaign was an in-house concept which was carried about by boutique production team, Guilty.

The videos end with the tagline, ‘Don’t let the man within go without’ inviting consumers to purchase menswear from the clothes site that will make them feel comfortable, wile also showcasing Cummins in a dapper dress suit.

A final clip includes an interview with Cummins, where he provides men with his clothes shopping tips.

The campaign features on The Iconic’s website and includes photos of Cummins dressed in the retailer’s outfits, allowing consumers to click on the images and ‘shop the look’.

‘For The Man Within’ is being rolled out across social, as well as the online at The Iconic, OOH, broadcast, catch-up and podcast.
