The Block: All Stars tops the night

The Block All Stars logoThe Block: All Stars won top spot but failed to push Nine to a win last night.

The reality renovation program scored 1.489 million capital city viewers, according to preliminary OzTAM ratings data.

Nine News (1.327m) and 60 Minutes (1.209m) were other top performers for the network.

But it was another rough night for Ten, which limped into fourth with an overall audience share of 12.4 per cent per cent – but ahead of its sub 10 per cent shares last week.

Its best show was MasterChef: The Professionals (721,000). The network’s Elementary (712,000) and Modern Family (630,000) were its next best programs. Elementary won its timeslot in under-40s.

ABC1 had a strong night with four of the top 20 programs, led by David Attenborough’s Galapagos documentary.

Seven’s best show was Downton Abbey (1.286 million), third overall for the night.
