Nine to partner with Helloworld Travel for new show

Nine will partner with Helloworld Travel Limited for its new show, Hello World, airing this October.

The network announced the new show, which will seek to take viewers on journeys through countries such as Canada, Japan, England, Scotland, New Zealand and the US, last weekend.

TV host Ray Martin will be one of the hosts of the show

Reporters on Hello World will include former Home And Away star Bec Hewitt, TV veteran Ray Martin, Today Extra presenter Sonia Kruger and Today weatherman Steve Jacobs.

Andrew Burnes, CEO and managing director of Helloworld Travel, said the company was thrilled to partner with the Nine Network.

“Our new TV program will give the best insight into some terrific destinations for future travel, both around Australia and around the world. I would also like to welcome our wonderful hosts to the Helloworld Travel family,” Burnes said.

Nine’s head of content production and development, Adrian Swift, added: “We know how much Australians love to travel and plan for their next big adventure so we are pleased to join with Helloworld Travel to bring to the screen a new travel series that sees some of Australia’s biggest names taking us on incredible journey’s both locally and around the world.”

Ten is currently airing its third season of Luxury Escapes at 6pm on Saturday evenings. The show is a tie-in with the Luxury Escapes travel company.

Nine also airs its long-running travel brand Getaway at 5.30pm on Saturdays. The show is currently in its 27th season.

Hello World will premiere on October 7 at 4:30pm.
