Nine wins Thursday as Eddie’s seat gets warmer

It was a good Thursday for Nine in the TV ratings, with the network winning the night and Millionnaire Hot Seat edging closer to Deal or No Deal.  

Nine took the evening with a share of 28.4% to Seven’s 27%, according to preliminary ratings from OzTam. The ABC was on 14.9% and SBS 6.7%

In late afternoon, Eddie McGuire’s  Hot Seat rated 700,000, while Deal Or No Deal on Seven was on 815,000, one of the closest finishes since the two game shows went head to head. Generally the gap has been at least 200,000.

Meanwhile, the only programme that rated well for Ten last night was MasterChef, which pulled in 1.4m.
