Nine’s Family Food Fight to return for second season
Nine’s Family Food Fight will return for a second season, the company announced this morning.
The show premiered with a metro audience of 614,000 last year despite the hopes Nine’s head of content production and development, Adrian Swift for an audience of 800,000.
This year, the show will feature an ‘all-new look’ and eight families, who will compete in the kitchen.
Teams can be siblings, mothers and sons or husbands and wives, and $100,000 in prize money is up for grabs. The judges will be Matt Moran, Anna Polyvoiu and Tom Parker Bowles. Hayden Quinn will not be returning to the show.
Nine’s Swift said of season two: “In season two we’ll be introducing a raft of different food challenges, from a celebrity dinner to catching fresh seafood, all sure to make temperatures rise and inspire even more home cooks around the country.”
The series is an Endemol Shine Australia format, which will be broadcast multiple times a week later this year.
