Noah Regan quits Host Singapore

20140128-070518.jpgThe executive creative director of the Singapore office of Host Noah Regan has left after less than a year.

Regan left The Monkeys in late 2012 where he was partner and creative director to join BBH Singapore, before jumping ship to Host, has resigned and is understood to be taking a break from the industry.

His departure comes soon after Host’s COO Paul Ward left to join Naked and Host Singapore’s MD Dan Gibson was handed a wider role at Havas Worldwide – which part-owns Host – to run both agencies in the citystate.

Host launched a Singapore office in 2012 not long after Havas acquired a majority stake in the agency. Anthony Freedman, Host’s regional CEO, said that the changes are not paving the way for the closer alignment of Host and its majority owner.

He told Mumbrella: “There will be a replacement for Noah, but we’re not ready to make any announcement about who just yet.”

On the relationship between Host and Havas, Freedman added: “The two brands will continue to operate independently as has been the case to date.”

Host started life well after launching in Singapore, winning clients including SMRT, Unilever, Top Shop and Google on top of a founding roster of Coke and Tourism Western Australian.
