NOVA looks to Seven for new group business director
NOVA Entertainment has announced the appointment of Rebecca Jeffrey to the role of group business director – digital, and reshuffled its commercial leadership team.
Jeffrey spent five years at Seven West Media, most recently as the network’s group digital sales manager, and will now be responsible for helping drive NOVA Entertainment’s digital audio offering, “with a specific focus on Nova Podcasts, ensuring advertisers can access a market-leading standard of digital product, service and capability”.
NOVA Entertainment’s group sales manager, Sophie Azzopardi, has stepped up into the role of group sales director,with account director Tom Edmonds moving into the role of group sales manager.
“Audio is the fastest growing digital media in Australia and I’m confident Rebecca will play an important role in driving continued momentum for NOVA Entertainment’s digital audio offering, as our streaming content becomes borderless and our strategic choice of podcast talent and content continues to attract new listeners to our ecosystem,” said NOVA’s CCO Nicole Bence.
Jeffrey said, “I’m delighted to join the NOVA team during this exciting period of adoption and transformation, to drive digital audio revenue forward with a best-in-class market-leading podcast offering.”
