OMD promotes Dan Robins to head Sydney digital team as head of interactive



Media agency OMD has promoted Dan Robins to lead the agency’s Sydney digital team in the role of head of interactive.

Robins was previously the head of performance, where he helped lead the creation and development of Telstra’s dedicated programmatic trading desk.

“Dan has been instrumental in developing the industry leading work we have been doing with Telstra in the digital space and he has also been leading our digital performance product over the last 18 months,” said OMD CEO Peter Horgan.

“He is the ideal choice to run the Sydney digital offering. Dan’s promotion further emphasises OMD’s stated approach to nurture talent and promote from within.”

He replaces Stuart Bailey who was promoted to chief digital officer late last year.

The appointment is effective immediately and will see Robins report to Bailey.
