One Green Bean wins Woolworths PR account
Public relations agency One Green Bean has won the one of the largest consumer PR accounts in Australia winning the business of Woolworths Supermarkets.
The account will cover their consumer, lifestyle and PR activities and will be headed by managing director Matt Buchanan who will lead a team of ten on the account.
“Woolworths really value the role of PR and that’s what makes it really exciting for us, they see PR as an important part of the marketing mix and we look forward to making a real commercial difference during what is a really significant time for supermarkets,” said Buchanan.
“For us to have another iconic Australian brand on our client list, it’s very exciting.”
One Green Bean has won the account after a two month multistage process against a number of other PR agencies.

I wonder if the team is racked and stacked full of Brits ready to dig up and regurgitate old Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury and Waitrose marketing ideas.
If not they should. Coles has shown it works, though they should put Aussies up to do TV spokesman duties. We don’t want our supermarkets sounding too British.
