Kendall joined the PR agency in May 2010 after just over two years as head of influence marketing at Holler Sydney.

In November last year Kendall was instrumental in One Green Bean in launching its influencer platform Crowd Atlas.

According to Kendall’s LinkedIn, he is currently offering his strategist services on a freelance basis with a new venture, of which he has the title founder and director, coming soon.

He told Mumbrella: “After six incredible years at the Beans, I have decided that it is time to back myself and take the leap.

“I’ve sensed another shift in the landscape, so my soon to launch venture addresses this new reality with a unique approach and business model.”

Carl Ratcliff, One Green Bean CEO, said: “It is with great sadness that we said goodbye to Matt, he’s like a best mate. I was really sad for him to move on but at the same time his leaving gives us the opportunity to hire someone else, a real gun in the social and digital space and I’m quite close to announcing who that is, that’s not to say Matt’s not a real gun!”

Ratcliff said Kendall’s venture is not in competition to One Green Bean and Kendall will be able to consult with the agency from time to time.

“When it is appropriate Matt will be able to consult with One Green Bean so it’s not the end of the relationship,” Ratcliff said.

Kendall’s replacement will be on the executive team of One Green Bean and run the digital and social specialists as well as the agency’s influencer platform, Crowd Atlas.

One Green Bean’s clients include Woolworths, Toyota, Origin Energy, OPSM and Maurice Blackburn.
