Online store showcase products in first TV ad

Online store has rolled out a TV campaign showcasing its range of home and lifestyle products in an effort to boost brand recognition and boost sales.

The spot, created by The Ideas Hatchery, sees a family hosting a party through which several products are featured and ends with the tagline ‘Shamelessly good value’. digital marketing manager Rie Kubo saod: “Inspired by our brand promise to ‘delight with great value’, we wanted to have a bit of fun with our first brand TV commercial.

“So our hero character is totally focused on her online bargains, even when disaster strikes at her party. We are an online business, and digital marketing is a big part of our strategy, but we still see TV as a great way to boost brand awareness and position our business in what is a very competitive market.”

The Ideas Hatchery creative director Simon Druery worked closely with Sydney production house Louder Than Words on the execution of the ad.

Druery said: “ has a vibrant, colourful brand so the ad needed to reflect that, while also appealing to our target audience’s pride in their homes.
