oOh! media appoints client solutions director

oOh! Media appoints a client solutions director and boosts its sales team to build integration between out of home and digital channels.

The announcement:

oOh! Media’s strategy to deliver greater integration between its Away-from-Home products and digital channels has been boosted by two significant new appointments.

Andrew Knowles, until recently sales director with Allure Media, Australia’s fastest-growing top 20 online publisher, has been appointed to the newly created position of Client Solutions Director at oOh!, reporting to Victorian Sales Director, Tim Murphy.

Andrew previously held positions at BBC Worldwide, Gorilla Nation and Bauer (Formerly ACP) where he worked in various integration, content and business development roles.

The second appointment is Carly Payne, who also has a strong digital background, previously working as an Agency Account Manager at carsales .com. Carly, also has an expansive knowledge of retail through shopping centre marketing and media formats across the AMP Capital portfolio, and joins the oOh! sales team in Melbourne.

CEO of oOh! Brendon Cook, said it is clear that advertisers are looking for fresh ways to connect with consumers and oOh! is responding with significant investments that increase its capabilities to deliver innovative digital advertising solutions.

“Over the past 18 months, oOh! has invested more than $30 million in the digitisation of our airport, café, venue, retail and roadside properties reaching almost one-in-three Australians each week,” Mr Cook said.

“That’s something that few, if any, comparable companies in Out-of-Home anywhere in the world can say.

“Andrew and Carly’s appointments, with their solid mix of traditional and digital media experience, will help enhance our vision of placing a strong emphasis on content and online engagement to connect advertisers and consumers in a completely different way to traditional Out-of- Home.”
