Ooh Media launches its beaches network across 100 coastal locations

Ooh Media launched their beaches network at an event at Bondi Icebergs on Thursday
Ooh Media has launched its Beaches Network, spanning over 100 locations across Australia’s coastline.
Ooh Media’s new outdoor network will see advertising across iconic locations such as Bondi Beach, Manly, and Palm Beach in Sydney, St Kilda in Melbourne, Adelaide’s Glenelg, Brisbane’s Suttons Beach, and Perth’s Cottesloe. There will be 800 assets within one kilometre of the coast and more than 2,200 within two kilometres.
Ooh’s recent push promised advertisers they could ‘own summer’ with an outdoor campaign — Bondi Beach alone attracts more than 50,000 visitors a day, while close to 80% of Australians live within an hour’s drive from the beach.

Mark Fairhurst, oOh!’s chief revenue officer, said in a media release announcing the network: “We’re unlocking premium access to Australia’s summer economy, when Aussies are out and about, catching up with friends, and spending $166 billion” [according to Westpac Data x].

In 2024, Ooh Media won two street furniture contracts that cover the Waverley Council area (Bondi, Rose Bay, Bronte) and the area that stretches from Manly to Palm Beach. The company said a “fully digital rollout is underway” at the Waverley sites, with a new special build site at Campbell Parade and Hall Street.
Ooh Media’s outdoor network now has over 35,000 assets. In 2024, the company posted annual revenue of $635.6 million.
Ooh’s first-half 2025 revenue jumped by 17%, to $336.2 million (compared to $288.3 million in the first half of 2024).
During its recent half-yearly earnings call, the company reported third-quarter media revenue was on pace to increase by 5%. The launch of an entire beach network is sure to bolster fourth-quarter revenue.
At a launch event for its ‘Own Summer’ splash last month, Ooh shared data from Tourism Research Australia that showed over 3.3 million Australians take coastal road trip each year, resulting an $8 billion ‘day-trip economy’.
