The announcement:

In a challenging education sector there are some providers that stand out from the pack. Open Colleges has been going from strength to strength since being acquired by US-based Apollo Global in 2014 and now has over 55 000 enrolled students across Australia.

Facebook recently ranked Open Colleges 4th nationally in the Education vertical for fan growth and engagement according to the social media giant’s mid-year report. With a full focus on the needs of students, CMO Matt Hill aims to continue the success by getting people talking.

“Exceptional products, services or experiences spark conversation – we want to give students something to speak about.”

“At Open Colleges, we place our full focus on our students, so we will continue to aim to breakdown any organisational silos in 2017 as these are a barrier to improving experience. We believe that everything else follows from this. Marketing needs to be listening to the wider business – that’s my belief.”
