Optus launches Ian Thorpe chat show featuring ‘hilarious pool related activities’

Telco Optus has created an online chatshow featuring former swimmer Ian Thorpe interviewing Australian sporting personalities in a pool in Rio.

The first two episodes see the swimmer chat to cyclist Anna Meares, and rugby players Ed Jenkins and Ellia Green.

Each episode, available on social media, sees Thorpe wearing a suit while floating on the pool.

I actually think the talkshow is spectacular. Ian’s new image is a fine balance between ‘out and proud’ and vintage sports star. Love some of the issues being discussed, such as female body image in sport. Think they’ve done a great job!
