Pedestrian launches podcast network, with Chris Wirasinha to host ‘Founders University’

Youth publisher Pedestrian has launched its first podcast, Founders University, as part of the new Pedestrian Podcast network.

The inaugural series has been made with commercial support from Squarespace, and will be hosted by co-founder of Pedestrian, Chris Wirasinha.

Founders University will chat with founders of start-up and people who have celebrated entrepreneurial success. It will also aim to look at the realities of starting a business and provide a local perspective on success, failure and how to build a brand.

Each podcast will run between 30 and 60 minutes.

Squarespace will be integrated through the series with bespoke live reads, together with a companion website.

“Founders University is a true passion project that fills a need in the market for more in-depth stories around the Australian start-up ecosystem,” Wirasinha.

“As a Squarespace user myself we were thrilled to partner with them to launch Founders University and help let Pedestrian’s audience take their creative projects, side hustles and entrepreneurial dreams to the next level.”

Founders University is the first podcast from Pedestrian’s podcast network. More series, which will launch in early 2018. Pedestrian is majority owned by Nine Entertainment Co.
