Peter Newman promoted to head of production and development at SBS
Peter Newman commissioning editor, documentaries at SBS has been promoted to head of production and development.
The role will involve overseeing the entire commissioning, production and development slate for the network.
Newman will report to Matt Campbell, director of television and online content.
Campbell said: “I’m thrilled Peter has accepted this senior leadership position. His work is outstanding and SBS is very fortunate his talent will now extend across our entire slate of commissioned content. I’m sure we will see more fantastic content from SBS under his stewardship.”
Newman worked on the documentary Go Back To Where You Came From, which premieres tomorrow night.
