Peter Urmson re-joins Fairfax as OMG CEO

Peter Urmson, group general manager of sales and marketing at Staging Connections, has moved back to Fairfax, taking over as CEO of Online Marketing Group.

The former general manager of Fairfax Digital Media’s Domain.com.au replaces Ari Klinger, who left the company two months ago to join internet investment firm Right Click Capital.

Urmson ran Domain.com.au for a year and a half between February 2007 and July 2008.

He told Mumbrella: “I left Fairfax during a period of restructure, and I’ve kept close relationships with everyone inolved. One of the reasons I’m going back is that the structure in place is good and makes sound sense to me.”
