Phil Duffield launches Australian offering of Adap.tv

Phil Duffield, the former MD of digital agency Ad2One, is to head up the new Australian office of Adap.tv.

Adap.tv is a tool for media buyers to plan, buy, sell and measure TV and video advertising, and is rolling out operations across Asia.

Joining Duffield is Wade Maris from News Digital Media as business development manager and Stephanie Famolaro, also from Ad2One, as account manager.

Duffield’s initial brief is to roll out the company’s two divisions, the Adap.tv Platform and the Adap.tv Marketplace.

Duffield said in a press release: “Within the next few years, video is expected to account for 81% of all Australian internet traffic, which is making advertisers think more about where they direct their budgets. We have the technology and the inventory to meet this demand and deliver targeted advertising across a myriad of platforms and devices. There’s no doubt that we will be part of a major transformation in the online industry in the region.
