Podcast for charity Legacy recreates Anzac letters home from frontline

A new podcast for charity Legacy has recreated letters sent home to Australia from Gallipoli to commemorate the centenary of the historic landing.

Created by GPY&R Melbourne, the series of short audio readings aims to let listeners “join the soldiers as they sailed from Australia to Egypt, and ensure their stories are never forgotten.”

Working with the Australian War Memorial, GPY&R researched letters and diary entries written by Australians while they were on board ships, in trenches, and wounded in hospital beds.

Each episode gives a personal account of the Gallipoli campaign from the Australian soldiers who were there 100 years ago.
