Popsugar Australia launches small business podcast series with Alyce Tran

Val Morgan Digital’s Popsugar Australia has launched a new 8-part podcast series – Dinner For Two – hosted by The Daily Edited founder Alyce Tran.

The podcast, created in partnership with Vistaprint, will share the story of how Tran left her corporate job as a lawyer to build the accessories brand into what is now a $25 million dollar business.

Each episode in the series will follow its own theme, providing small business owners with Tran’s insights and advice for on topics like how to start a brand, how to market your product, how to launch into physical retail, how to take on investment, how to lead a team and more.

As host, Tran will sit down with a different guest in each episode, who will also share their knowledge and experience on the topic and answer commonly asked questions by current or hopeful small business owners.

“I’ve loved my entrepreneurial journey so far and I definitely have a point of view and experience on a lot of aspects of consumer goods and business but it is always nice to share these experiences and learn from others to get a more well rounded view on a topic!” said Tran.

Popsugar Australia’s publisher Amanda Bardas added, “The podcast is intended to be insightful and entertaining, and with so many podcasts already existing in this space, we worked hard to ensure the guests appearing throughout the series are truly at the top of their game.”

Dinner For Two launched today with three episodes featuring Shelly Sullivan, Ana Piteira and Adrian Norris already available to download on all podcast platforms and the Popsugar website. The remaining episodes will drop weekly.

Popsugar Australia was relaunched by Val Morgan Digital in early 2021, joining the publishing network’s stable of publications including Fandom, The Latch and Thrillist. The publication’s editorial lineup was revealed in January last year.
