She joined the agency in late 2022, after a number of media advisory stints for various politicians and ministers.
Chief executive of the agency, Rhys Ryan, said the team’s experience and expertise is reflected in its recent growth and the value it can offer clients.
“Our team of communications and media specialists has experience in news and journalism, government, consumer brands, corporate communications and everything in between,” he explained.
“This breadth of experience and capabilities only further bolsters our ability to offer smart, strategic and innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges.”
Porter Novelli has also recently welcomed four new clients in UNSW Science, Amazon Australia, ESR Australia and the NSW Electoral Commission.
The growth comes a few months after the agency appointed a Sydney general manager in Victoria Fruean.
Fruean, who joined mid-2023 as the Sydney client partner lead from Thrive PR, said in February: “Since joining Porter Novelli last year, I have been impressed by the smarts of our people and clients, the breadth and depth of work that we do, and our approach to developing talent. I’m grateful for the opportunities that I’ve already had in my time here and excited for more meaningful work and success with the Sydney team and our clients this year.”
The agency has also recently promoted Lauren Clancy to client partner – technology and cyber, and Cal Easton to strategy and digital lead.
