Powerhouse creative pair join Dig

Creative agency Dig has unveiled that long-time copywriter, Nicole Conway, and experienced art director and creative, Tim Batterham, have joined its team.

Slotting in to the company’s senior creative team, Batterham and Conway are known for being a “dynamic duo” that deliver out-of-the-box, awarded work. And now at Dig, the creative experts will be tasked with working on the agency’s brand portfolio, a catalogue containing Mitre 10, RACV, Australian Pork and more.

According to Dig’s chief creative officer, David Joubert, Conway and Batterham are not only creative additions to the team, but strategic ones too.

As Joubert put it: “From the moment I met Nic and Tim, I knew they were the perfect fit for Dig.

“They’re sharp, strategic, and simply ooze creativity. Having them on board is going to be brilliant.”

The pair expressed their admiration for Dig when commenting on their new positions, praising the creative agency for its ongoing growth.

“We’ve been admiring Dig’s work from afar for a while now,” they revealed.

“It’s hard not to notice when an agency is on an upward trajectory. Joining this team and roster of clients feels like the perfect creative playground.

“We’re hyped to make great work together and help continue the agency’s growth.”

The creative duo have been working within Australia’s adland for years, having held positions at numerous notable companies such as Havas Host, M&C Saatchi, Archibald Williams – which officially rebranded in early August 2024 to mark a new chapter in its operations – and J. Walter Thompson Worldwide.

Conway’s and Batterham’s official welcome to the Dig team comes roughly two weeks after Dig won a competitive pitch process to become the content and social media agency for a2 Milk.

At the time, the milk brand’s head of marketing for Australia and New Zealand, Lou Tomkins, revealed that Dig’s ability to understand a2 Milk’s business goals and deliver strategic solutions to satisfy them, made the B Corp certified agency the best choice for the brand.

“Dig were able to demonstrate that they clearly understand our business objectives and opportunities,” Tomkins explained, “and showed that they can deliver through their combination of strategic solutions, backed by an experienced team.”
