PR agency Romano Beck partners With AiMCO

Public relations, digital and influencer and content marketing agency, Romano Beck, has partnered with the Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO), joining client L’Oréal Australia to become its 60th member.

The announcement:

AiMCO is the Australian industry body that brings together an alliance of industry professionals, marketers and content creators who are committed to enriching influencer marketing best practice, campaign measurement and industry knowledge.

Romano Beck has aligned with AiMCO to showcase its commitment to transparency and best practice in influencer marketing.

A report from Mediakix said that the influencer marketing industry predicted that as influencers become more plentiful and proven, brands are set to spend up to A$20.4 billion on influencer marketing by 2022.

AiMCO’s CEO, Josanne Ryan, said: “It is exciting to welcome Romano Beck as members of AiMCO and to see the organisation grow to over 65 corporate members. Our members are the backbone of the organisation, they are the knowledge bank behind the resources we provide to develop the industry. We now have a wonderful line up of smart and engaged industry professionals working with us collaboratively to define and embrace best practice in influencer marketing. We continue to evolve our services and are thrilled that Romano Beck will be involved with us on the journey.”

Romano Beck co-founder, Gareth Beck, said, “Influencer marketing is part of our vernacular and is only going to grow as brands continue to engage with influencers to seamlessly convey brand messaging in a more organic format, that leverages the voices of real people.”

“We use influencer marketing as a channel in the same way that advertisers would use a billboard or a radio spot. It is important that there is a code of conduct so that all brands can play safely. We see AiMCO as integral in keeping the industry honest and consumers protected in the same way that Ad Standards has done so for commercial advertising,” concluded Beck.
