PR agency Stark Matthews appoints Cherie Herrmann as social media marketing strategist

Sydney PR agency Stark Matthews has announced former beauty and health editor of the website beautyhaven, Cherie Herrmann, as the company’s social media marketing strategist.

In a newly created position for the agency, Herrmann will lead the digital and social strategies for Stark Matthews’ clients.

Herrmann previously worked in London for global beauty company L’Oréal as The Body Shop’s international social media marketing manager and returned to Australia as to take the role of social media and brand manager for L’Oréal Paris.

Prior to L’Oréal, Herrmann worked for a series of digital editorial platforms, including stints at Bauer Media, Pacific Magazines and Fitness First’s inhouse media platform.

Stark Matthews director, Anna Stark said in a media statement: “The landscape has changed, social and PR no longer sit in silos, so effective brand communications include strategies where social, digital, influencer marketing and PR support one another in cohesive, rounded and thought-out campaigns.

“Cherie has been consulting with us for almost a year now and her expertise has been an invaluable asset to our team, so we’re thrilled to for her to officially join the team.”
