PR agency SUADA acquires ‘Certified B Corporation’ status

SUADA – a PR agency dedicated to fostering “positive change” – has officially become a Certified B Corporation.

The announcement:

Good-purpose PR agency SUADA has cemented itself among the top tier of global companies influencing positive change, becoming a Certified B Corporation.

B Corporations are organisations that take their impact as seriously as their profits, demonstrating the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency through a rigorous independent certification process. So far, just under 700 Australian companies have become B Corp Certified.

SUADA’s founder and CEO, Naomi Brooker, said: “Since evolving SUADA’s mission two years ago, we’ve had a laser focus on changing the world for the better – on using our mission of PR for Good™ as a lever to influence positive change and create a network of clients and employees who are committed to doing the same”.

“But it is one thing to say something, it is quite another to go beyond gestures and rhetoric. The B Corp Certification helps to do just that. It shows that there is depth to what we are saying. It shows that we’re holding ourselves to the same standards as the clients we are so proud to support. We’re showing that a truly values-led business can be sustainable and profitable, and that is something to celebrate.”

SUADA’s mission of PR for Good™ reflects the company’s commitment to using the power of persuasive communications for the good of the world. The team exclusively works with clients whose core purpose aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), designed to stimulate action in areas of critical importance for humanity and the planet.

PR for Good™ also informs SUADA’s pro bono initiative, an annual 100-hour commitment to support organisations addressing one of the UN’s SDGs. In 2023, SUADA supported organisations addressing Goal 6: Clean Water & Sanitation, most recently publishing a research report into 2023 water news, and in 2024, the focus is on Goal 6: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
