Praytell named ‘National PR agency’ for SA Tourism Commission
The South Australian Tourism Commission has chosen Praytell to be its national PR agency.
The announcement:
Praytell has been appointed as the National PR agency for the South Australian Tourism Commission, following a competitive pitch.
The creative communications agency will lead the charge on domestic PR programming, including strategic counsel, earned media and brand advocate programming and familiarisations, as well as destination campaigns for major events and special projects including Tasting Australia, Tour Down Under, AFL Gather Round and LIV Golf.
Bringing the state’s new destination brand campaign to life in 2025 will be a focus of the partnership, along with celebrating the diversity of regions, good food, unmatched wine and sustainable tourism offering. The announcement follows the recent appointment of David Koch as chair of the commission.
“We’re joining the fold at a transformational time for the South Australian Tourism Commission, and we couldn’t be more impressed by the innovative and intentional work we’re seeing. When your first day on the job is spent learning about world class food and wine operators, epic events and unforgettable hidden gem experiences, you know you’ve got a big and fantastic task ahead,” said Zoe Watson, senior vice president at Praytell Australia.
Praytell Australia will partner with its North American team to scale storytelling efforts, with the agency also retaining SATC’s PR account in the United States.
