Praytell unveils latest set of hires
The team at Praytell – a creative comms agency – has grown with Nikita Delkousis, Laura Dhondy and Ruby Hawkins coming on board in different roles.
The announcement:
Creative communications agency Praytell welcomes three new faces this month following an exciting period of growth for the agency.
Laura Dhondy, Ruby Hawkins and Nikita Delkousis now call Praytell’s Cremorne HQ home, working across the agency’s diverse client roster that includes retained and project work for the likes of Dodo, South Australian Tourism Commission, AllTrails, carsales, OpenTable and Conquest Sports – the Australian distributor of Converse.
Dhondy has stepped into the role of senior business director, applying her nearly two decades’ of strategic communications experience to bolster the agency’s integrated model, following significant growth and momentum in 2024. Having worked across a multitude of agency and in-house roles including lengthy periods at L’Oreal and Mango, Dhondy will play a pivotal role in delivering earned-first creative campaigns for Praytell partners.
“I’m thrilled to step into this role and support Zoe and the team in driving Praytell’s Australian business forward. Creating integrated campaigns with earned media at the core has always been a passion of mine and I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity to work with such talented people in a space that embraces innovation and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo.”
Ruby Hawkins brings her signature energy and enthusiasm to the team, joining as account manager following a stint working across FMCG, hospitality, property and travel brands at Modern Currency.
Rounding out the trio of new faces, Nikita Delkousis joins Praytell as an account executive after kicking off her career in-house at youth skincare brand, AllKinds.
Senior vice president Zoe Watson commented “It’s a privilege to be welcoming Laura, Ruby and Nikita to Praytell as we scale our local team in step with rapidly growing client partnerships and creative ambitions in Australia.
Praytell has a reputation for attracting epically clever and curious talent internationally, and we’ve been busy building a team and culture that’ll earn us the same here in Australia. Adding this trio of whip smart women to our tight knit team sets us up to continue our current trajectory.
Anyone who has crossed paths with Laura knows she’s one of the best integrated brains in the business – not to mention a great person. Her experience bolsters our senior strategic and creative offering, and will be a lighthouse for our growing team – including folks like Ruby and Nikita who are already knocking our socks off with refreshing and new thinking.”
The trio join a team of 160+ Praytellians across Australia, the U.S. and U.K.
