Priceline celebrates the ‘little somethings’ in Christmas campaign via Whippet

Priceline Pharmacy has launched its 2020 Christmas campaign by encouraging Aussies to find ‘A little Christmas something’ at one of its stores.

The campaign, created in partnership with Whippet agency, pushes the idea that small gifts can be just as meaningful as big ones.

The campaign was shot strategically around COVID-19 restrictions and features Priceline Pharmacy ambassador Chrissie Swan.

In its hero TVC, Swan heralds Priceline as a destination for a little something that ‘says I get you’, ‘that is totally them’, that ‘they’ve been wanting to try’, and more.

Priceline head of marketing Gabrielle Tully said Christmas can still be just as special this year even if it might not be full of big gifts.

“With the country in its first recession in nearly 30 years, we anticipate Christmas won’t be quite as big this year for a lot of families,” she said.

“But that’s not to say it can’t be just as special. It’s all about showing your loved ones how well you know them, and showing them how much you care.”

Whippet ECD Tod O’Reilly said the campaign was focused on the impact of thoughtfulness. “A lot of Aussies are doing it tough at the moment, so we wanted to remind our customers that a little thoughtfulness can go a long way,” he said.

“And with the ever-lovable Chrissie Swan at the helm of the campaign, we knew we couldn’t really go wrong.”

The campaign is running in tandem with Priceline’s fundraising drive for its Priceline Sisterhood Foundation, which also stars Swan.

The drive aims to spread awareness and generate support for the Sisterhood Foundation and its four partner charities – PANDA, Raise, Dementia Australia and Look Good Feel Better.

The Priceline Sisterhood Foundation has raised over $6m for Australian women and their families since it was created in 2010.

Both campaigns are running nationally across TV, radio, digital and in-store.
