Publicis acquires the Herd Agency including N2N, Fuel and Touch Creative

One of Australia’s biggest PR agencies,  N2N Communications, has been acquired by Publicis.

Publicis has taken over Herd, the umbrella group of N2N, Fuel Communications and Touch Creative. The three agencies were combined in October last year.

N2N, which was founded in 1996, has worked with brands such as Uber, Airbnb, Facebook, American Express and Transport for NSW.

Fuel Communications’ clients have included Instagram, Visa, The Iconic, Soda Stream, Gumtree, IGA, Princess Cruises, Caltex, Optus and BlueJeans since launching in 2008.

In September last year, the agency launched a digital marketing agency Touch Creative, which has also been included in the deal.

One month later N2N, Fuel Communications and Touch Creative introduced The Herd Agency, with the aim of uniting the three agencies together.

At the time of the launch, agency owner, Jamie Verco, told Mumbrella: “If you look at the PR industry, it’s characterised by lots of small, boutique agency groups, but the needs of clients are really rapidly changing and they need broader, richer more diverse range of skill sets to solve the complex communications challenges. The Herd Agency allows us to deliver that depth and diversity of skills to them.”

The agency will be renamed Herd MSL and be led by CEO Vanessa Liell with the existing leadership team of founder, Jamie Verco as well as agency heads Katarina Farrell, Stuart Wragg and Lewis Shields remaining.
