Publicis Sapient boosts team with two industry specialists

Digital transformation company Publicis Sapient has appointed two new industry leads. Daniel Abbas will focus on public sector and higher education industries, while Michael Joffe will be responsible for energy and utilities.

Sapient, the digital transformation arm of Publicis Groupe says the appointments signal an expansion of its investment in “industry vertical specialist talent”.

Abbas has worked in both the corporate and public sectors, and he has previously led Nous Group’s digital practice group and been business architect for REA Group.

Meanwhile, Joffe co-founded Zen Ecosystems, an Internet of Things and energy management company. He has also held roles at Planet Innovation and Invetech.
