Publish Awards shortlist revealed as Medium Rare Content leads the charge with 19 shortlisted entries
Mumbrella has revealed the shortlist for the 2019 Publish Awards, with Medium Rare Content managing to secure 19 shortlisted entries.
The content agency, which has clients including Qantas, Coles, Jetstar, NSW Farmers and the Australian Institute of Company Directors, has been nominated for Editor of the Year, Website Of The Year – Consumer/Custom, Publishing Company Of The Year – Large, Business Publication of the Year, Custom Publication of the Year and Salesperson/Team of the Year, among others.
Coming in just behind Medium Rare Content was Bauer Media, scoring 18 shortlisted entries across categories including: Branded Content Studio of the Year, Brand of the Year, Special Edition of the Year, Publishing Company Of The Year – Large and Best Use of Video.
Bauer Media has been shortlisted for its brands Story 54, Take 5, The Australian Women’s Weekly and WhichCar.
News Corp Australia also grabbed 17 shortlisted entries for its brands Vogue, News.com.au, Whimn.com.au, The Australian and Stellar. The parent brand was nominated for Event of the Year, Best Podcast, Launch/Relaunch of the Year, Consumer Publication of the Year – Large and Custom Publication of the Year.
Momentum Media was shortlisted for eight awards while Nine managed six shortlistings across Editor of the Year, Best Podcast, Business Publication of the Year, Special Edition of the Year and Magazine Cover Of The Year – Consumer/Custom.
Battling it out for Publishing Company of the Year – Large is Bauer Media, Medium Rare Content Agency, Junkee Media and Hardie Grant, while the contenders for Publishing Company of the Year – Small include Mahlab, Broadsheet Media, Grin Creative and Storyation.
