Puma celebrates Jack Crisp’s AFL games streak with custom ‘Jack Crisps’ and commemorative boots

Puma marked Jack Crisp’s historic AFL milestone with a quirky tribute and custom gear ahead of his record-breaking game.

The announcement:

PUMA today hosted a media moment out the front of Gold St Milk Bar in the heart of Collingwood to celebrate Jack Crisp’s imminent breaking of the long-standing record for most consecutive AFL/VFL games played. On Friday, 25th April, the midfielder equalled the late, great Jim Stynes’ record and is set to surpass it this weekend with 245 consecutive games played.

PUMA has been Crisp’s proud partner for the past 5 years. To commemorate this significant and unique achievement, PUMA wanted to highlight, in a quirky way, the fact that once Crisp started playing AFL, he hasn’t really stopped.

Crisp was presented with his very own ‘Jack Crisps’, a nod to ‘Crisp’ being Jack’s surname.

In addition to the crisps, PUMA presented Jack with a special pair of PUMA Future Football Boots in a custom boot box in the shape of the crisps packaging, which he will wear for the record-breaking moment.

Director of marketing Neysa Goh commented, “PUMA and Jack’s partnership began in 2020, and we’re proud to have been with him for a significant portion of his journey toward breaking the most consecutive games in the AFL. Jack’s consistency and resilience have been staggering to watch, and we’re excited to see him continue his career. We congratulate Jack on equaling and shortly breaking this record.”

A handful of lucky fans were able to get their hands on the limited-edition Crisps in Collingwood today.
