‘Curiosity’ herds sheep in NZ in new Qantas Frequent Flyer ad
Qantas has put its replica of NASA’s Mars rover “Curiosity” to work in New Zealand herding sheep in a new commercial promoting its Frequent Flyer program.
The rover roams across picturesque New Zealand hills, herds sheep and ponders the reflection of Jetstar plane flying through the NZ sky in a still pool.

The commercial, by Droga5, is for the New Zealand market only, and positions the Frequent Flyer program as suitable for domestic and international travellers, “whether you’re flying across the country, or across the world, with Qantas Frequent Flyer you can find rewards on every journey”.
The replica Curiosity was first used by Droga5 for an Frequent Flyer campaign in Australia.
Not bad. Unconvincing as a shepherd, not enough care taken with lake to sky transition and bad cut on stock-trap bridge crossing, where vehicle mounts bridge twice. Nit picking , but if a thing is worth doing etc.
