QMS Australia promotes John O’Neill to CEO

Out-of-home media company QMS has promoted its chief sales officer, John O’Neill, to the role of Australian CEO.

In his new role, O’Neill will be responsible for managing the Australian media business and implementing its engagement strategy across digital, outdoor and sport media.

O’Neill will report into QMS’ group CEO Barclay Nettlefold

Meanwhile, Nathan Sable – currently the managing director of QMS’ production arm Omnigraphics – has been promoted to CEO of QMS Production.

Sablle will now oversee all of the company’s Australian production and logistics businesses which includes Omnigraphics, MMT and BMG.

Both Sable and O’Neill will report into QMS’ group CEO Barclay Nettlefold.

“I am really excited about the future direction of the QMS Media Group and the calibre of people that we have within the team.

“These changes are a reflection of the incredible talent that we have at QMS, and the outstanding contribution made by John and Nathan in the development of the Australian media and production businesses.

“Their appointments will enable me to focus on the exciting growth opportunities that lie ahead for the QMS Media Group both locally in Australia as well as internationally,” Nettlefold said in a statement.

Nettlefold previously acted as CEO for the group in the Australian market.
