QuickBooks makes wizards of accountants via TBWA\Sydney

Accounting software Intuit QuickBooks has released a new campaign via TBWA\Sydney, showcasing the skills of the accounts that use the software.

The campaign, titled ‘‘makes me the _____ of accounting’, showcase real Australian accountants.

In one of the 45-second spots, accountant Adarsh explains how he has been called the wizard of accounting, and that QuickBooks wishes to make a commercial about him. He then speaks telepathically with a team member.

TBWA\Sydney creative director Stu Tobin said: “If you’ve ever received a strongly worded letter from the ATO like I have, then you know all about the small business heroics of Australia’s Accountants. What better way to demonstrate the support QuickBooks gives these unsung heroes than with a fresh platform that places real stories from real accountants at its core.”

Intuit QuickBooks Australia’s marketing director Jane Merrick added: “We’re excited to launch this new campaign which celebrates Accountants and Bookkeepers in their own words. Often accountants and bookkeepers can be stereotyped, but having supported Australian accountants and bookkeepers for more than a decade, we know they are a diverse, creative, and supportive community totally committed to the success of their clients.

“The TBWA\Sydney team has brought to life a fun and creative campaign that not only promotes QuickBooks, but also celebrates one of our core customer segments.”

The integrated campaign is on online video, digital, social, PR and trade media.
