Quickflix connects with Humax devices

Quickflix has partnered with Humax, a home video recorder company to distribute Quickflix’s digital service through IP-connected devices. Quickflix is already available through numerous streaming devises including Sony Bravia TVs, Sony Playstations, and IP connected TVs.

The announcement:

Quickflix Limited (ASX: QFX) today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Humax, a leading producer of personal video recorders, to distribute the Quickflix digital service through IP-connected PVRs, commencing in the first quarter of 2013 in Australia.

Humax PVR users will have access to Quickflix subscription and latest release pay per view streaming of movies and TV shows directly to their home HD television through the award winningHumaxHDR-7500T Full HD Digital TV Recorder when connected to the Humax TV Portal.  Current Humax HDR-7500T owners can also access the new Quickflix streaming service through the Humax TV Portal.

Quickflix streaming will also be available on the Humax Viewer Access Satellite Television (VAST) models, as well as other models planned for release in 2013.
