Commercial Radio Australia talks advertising in new ads for brand campaign

A series of ads created for the Commercial Radio Australia campaign promoting the value of loyal listeners to advertisers will be launched across the country on Monday.

The four 30 second ads created by specialist radio agency Eardrum, headed by creative director Ralph van Dijk, join four others already on the air and also feature radio advertising personality Mark Mitchell.

Built on the premise that Australian listeners are dedicated to their favourite radio stations and shows, the ‘Australia’s Listening’ campaign says hearing advertising on the radio is like having a recommendation from a friend.

In the new ads Mitchell engages in the conversation from all angles in lighthearted interviews with customer loyalty expert ‘No all’ Noel, Alice the advertiser, loyal listener Billy, and Michael and Tim, who don’t know each other, but have a ‘friend’ in common.

The ads will be played on over 260 commercial radio stations across the country from Monday.
