Ratings: 1.183m for Hamish & Andy as George Negus says goodbye to SBS with 256,000
Hamish & Andy’s end of year special Reministmas pulled in 1.183m viewers for Ten on Sunday while Seven’s The X Factor delivered a healthy 1.374m.
Nine had a more disappointing evening with the Twenty20 cricket averaging 887,000 and parking rangers doco The Enforcers clocking up 573,000 across Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide – 14th, eighth and eighth respectively – according to preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam. Nine finished behind Ten, with less than 20% share.
Meanwhile, George Negus bowed out with his last Dateline for SBS before his new role at Ten with an average audience of 256,000.
The top rating show on a secondary channel was The Big Bang Theory on Go – which beat SBS1 – delivering about a third of a million viewers for each episode.
