Rebecca Bezzina returns to R/GA as SVP and managing director of its London office

Former managing director of R/GA Rebecca Bezzina is moving to the UK to take up the role of senior vice president and managing director of R/GA London.

Sean Lyons, global CEO of R/GA, welcomed Bezzina back to the business.

“I couldn’t be happier to officially welcome Becs back to R/GA as the new MD for our London office.

“She has a proven record of delivering the work that drives business success for our clients, while building and leading the teams necessary to do it, and her understanding of our unique DNA coupled with her optimism and energy make her an R/GA-er through and through. We look forward to watching the work and our culture of design and innovation continue to flourish under her leadership,” Lyons said.

Bezzina first joined R/GA in 2013 as client services director before becoming managing director of client services in 2015. After a nine month stint as MD of Cummins & Partners, she became vice president and managing director of R/GA Australia in 2016.

She resigned from the role in early 2019.

Bezzina said she was focused on the ‘next decade of innovation’.

“I’m thrilled to be back at R/GA and to be given the opportunity to lead this group of hugely talented creatives, designers and technologists,” said Bezzina.

“R/GA is a company that has never stood still – so while coming back feels familiar in some ways, it’s also just as new, different and exciting as the first day I joined the company. I and the whole London team are already focused on the next decade of innovation, and the growth opportunities out there for our clients and for us. I can’t wait to get going.”

Bezzina’s focus will be strengthening R/GA’s position as an innovation partner for brands by developing new capabilities.

Previously, Bezzina was group head of the Commonwealth Bank account at M&C Saatchi.
