Red Agency secures sustainability conference

Red Agency Melbourne has secured the PR tender for the sustainability conference Corporations, People & The Planet, produced by events company Thin Blue Line.

The event will be held at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on 26 April headlined by Sigourney Weaver, David Suzuki and Bob Geldof as well as sustainability experts.

This will be followed by a two day event, United Nations Global Compact Cities Program, bringing together mayors from the world’s most innovative cities.

Ben Brazil, founder and director of The Thin Blue Line said of Red Agency’s appointment: “They have extensive experience in both the corporate and sustainability industries and a great track record in securing publicity for events.”

Grant Titmus, principal of Red Agency Melbourne said of the conference: “It will provide a great opportunity for businesspeople, environmentalists, academics, young people, media and scientists to gather for the common purpose of ensuring the future of the planet.”

Red Agency was behind the promotion of Earth Hour in its first two years. They’re also part of the Euro RSCG Global network who are behind One Young World movement, a global youth leadership summit, and Tck Tck Tck, campaigning for climate justice.
