Red Agency wins South Australian Tourism Commission PR account

Red Agency has been appointed as the South Australian Tourism Commission’s PR agency of record.

As SATC’s PR agency of record, Red Agency will handle the tourism body’s earned media, influencer relations, social strategy and experiential activations.

The SATC aims to increase tourism expenditure to $8 billion by 2020 and make South Australia the country’s destination of choice for both international and domestic travellers.

Jackie Crossman, executive director of Red Agency Sydney, said in a statement: “South Australia is a destination with so much to offer the modern traveller, and we are looking forward to working closely with the SATC team to ensure we grow visibility of the destination in key consumer markets.”

Brent Hill, executive director of marketing at SATC, added: “2018 is set to be a huge year for us as we tell deeper, richer stories about why South Australia should be on everyone’s must visit list.

“We look forward to Red Agency working with our team to bring the plans to life while we continue to evolve our PR activities to ensure South Australia continues to get cut through in the noisy and cluttered media environment.”

In February Red Agency launched a new experiential agency, Village Blvd adding offerings including events, experiential, photography, videography, design, writing, and social and digital production.

Red Agency’s clients include Qatar Airways, Vivid Sydney, Heineken, Chandon and Western Sydney University.
