Resolution Digital go-to-market media brand gone, MD departs

Omnicom Media Group’s Resolution Digital go-to-market media brand has been retired locally, having been integrated into Hearts and Science, Mumbrella can reveal.

The move will see Resolution’s media team and clients transition to its OMG stablemate, while its specialist teams — including digital experience design, CRO, SEO, martech, web development, and UX — will continue to operate as a dedicated digital consultancy.

It follows leadership changes, including the departure of managing director Matthew Keegan, after a decade with the agency.

Matthew Keegan

Keegan first joined Resolution in 2015 as an SEO manager. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in shaping the agency and positioning it as a digital expert.

The Resolution brand has been a part of OMG for over a decade, having been acquired in 2013. Then known as Bruce Clay Australasia, the agency was a market leading SEO company. Over the years, it has developed as a media agency and digital specialist, while sticking to its search expertise roots.

Mumbrella understands there have been no redundancies as a result of this integration.

Melanie Burlett, general manager of Resolution, said it is “about putting clients first”.

“Resolution Digital is evolving into a high-impact digital experience partner. Our specialist teams will continue to solve complex experience, platform, and performance challenges,” she said in a statement to Mumbrella.

“This focused model is a strategic step forward, giving clients access to expert-led digital evolution that helps craft experiences which convert, scale, and grow.”

OMG Australia also hopes this will strengthen and better align with the agency’s global three core agency brand structure — OMD, PHD, and Hearts and Science — and showcase its commitment to client success.

“Hearts & Science and Resolution Digital have each built strong reputations with clients and partners, grounded in a shared commitment to data-driven media strategies that drive real business results,” Jane Stanley, CEO of Hearts and Science ANZ, said in a statement to Mumbrella.

“By bringing our teams together, we’re enhancing our ability to deliver more integrated, innovative solutions while staying true to the values our clients trust us for.”

Earlier this month Hearts and Science Australia announced the appointment of Peita Pacey as chief strategy and behaviour change officer.
