Restive unveils experience design and research expansion with new promotion and model

Restive has invested in its experience design and research offering by promoting Florencia Mostaccio to head of research and experience design, while rolling out “a new industry-first skillset and engagement model”.

The announcement:

Technology consultancy to future-focussed companies, Restive, has today announced the expansion of its research and experience design offering, following a senior appointment to lead the division and the launch of a new industry-first skillset and engagement model for clients.

Florencia Mostaccio has been promoted to the newly-created role, head of research and experience design, and she will be responsible for building out the dedicated research and experience offering for clients. She joins Restive’s leadership team and will report to managing director, Stuart Oliver.

Restive’s new skillset and engagement model incorporates industry-first approaches already proven in market by Restive and driving results for some of Australia’s largest brands. The consultancy’s innovative design and technology delivery has already enabled early-adopter clients to achieve significant revenue growth and enhanced customer satisfaction.

On the expanded offering and Florencia’s appointment, Stuart said: “The combination of Florencia’s appointment to lead our research and experience design division and the launch of our industry-first skillset and engagement models is proof of our commitment to the impact we can create for our clients. We’ve already enabled our clients to improve digital experiences for millions of customers and deliver extraordinary results to their bottom line.

“Florencia is the ideal consultant to lead our expanded research and design capability. She has already led significant projects with clients in this capacity and delivered amazing results for them. Florencia will grow a team of research and experience designers across Asia Pacific, enabling us to support our clients to grow in an area that’s increasingly critical.”

Restive launched in 2018 as a digital strategy consultancy. The business has grown 170% year-on-year since then. In that time the consultancy expanded to become a full-service ecosystem of more than 400 tech experts spanning Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia.

Restive adds its strengthened research and experience design offering to its existing capabilities: data and AI, cybersecurity, digital strategy, and tech modernisation and cloud, spanning strategy, delivery and team augmentation services.

On her appointment, Florencia said, “It’s an exciting time to be with Restive. We have already made an enormous impact on millions of consumers by shaping products and services for Australia’s leading brands, and this is an opportunity for us to deliver even more value for existing and new clients.

“We are helping our clients to deeply understand their customers and designing exceptional experiences to suit their needs and unlock growth. Our new skillset model is unique to Restive and it will allow us to put forward to clients the best end-to-end researchers and designers in Australia and beyond. I can’t wait for this next chapter at Restive and look forward to partnering with our clients to assist them in achieving their goals.”

Florencia joined Restive in 2019 with more than 10 years’ experience in design. She has led research and design engagements for a wide range of clients – from helping startups establish their product in market to assisting large corporates with understanding their customer and designing new offerings. Her clients include Coles Group, Bed Bath N’ Table, JB Hi-Fi, Super Retail Group and Debenhams, Cengage, Suncorp, as well as a variety of nonprofits.

Florencia’s appointment is effective immediately.
