Revlon ANZ appoints Stark Matthews as PR agency of record

Revlon Colour Cosmetics ANZ has selected Sydney beauty PR agency Stark Matthews to handle its media and influencer relations, effective January 2023.

The agency’s remit will include supporting the brand to bring a number of launches and campaigns to life throughout the year.

Revlon ANZ head of marketing, Amy Kingon Smith, said the team was looking forward to bringing a fresh perspective to a number of campaigns that are currently in the works.

“Since 1932, Revlon has been an icon of the beauty industry, constantly evolving and adapting throughout its 90-year history. Next year provides an exciting opportunity to refresh how Revlon connects with consumers and we are looking forward to bringing innovation and energy to the brand in Australia and New Zealand with the Stark Matthews team,” explained Kingon Smith.

Stark Matthews co-founder and director, Anna Stark, said: “As a beauty-lead agency, we are so excited to welcome Revlon ANZ to our portfolio of clients in 2023. The opportunity to work with such an iconic colour cosmetics brand continues to inspire our team to think outside the box, while protecting Revlon’s renowned brand story and bringing the name to a younger demographic of consumer,” said Stark.

The appointment adds to a growing list of beauty brands on Stark Matthews’ roster, including L’Occitane, Dr. LeWinn’s, No7 and the Wella Company portfolio.
