RhythmOne’s Adam Furness resurfaces as APAC MD of Impact Radius

Adam Furness has been announced as managing director for the APAC region of digital marketing platform Impact Radius.

Furness will stay in Sydney

In November it was announced Furness would be moving to Singapore with newly merged ad tech company RhythmOne, however by December he had resigned.

Impact Radius opened an Australian office late last year, so Furness will now remain in Sydney and report into global CEO David Yovanno.

Impact Radius describes itself as “a natively-integrated suite of products for marketing intelligence and analytics, ad fraud detection and prevention, and performance partnership marketing”, with Furness to focus on leading and growing the business across APAC.

Furness spent time as the Brisbane sales boss for Southern Cross Austereo before being hired as RadiumOne’s director of enterprise platform sales one month after the advertising platform launched in Australia.

In 2016 he was promoted to managing director of ANZ for the company , which was subsequently acquired by San Fransisco-based RythmOne.

Following the acquisition, Furness was set to move to Singapore to head up the APAC hub, however soon after the news was made public, he left.

Furness is also a founding board member at industry foundation UnLtd and a board member and investor in podcast platform Whooshkaa.

“Adam is a recognised marketing leader and veteran of the APAC region, and his appointment demonstrates Impact Radius’ growth, vision and commitment to meeting the needs of today’s modern global brands,” CEO Yovanno said.

Furness said he was looking forward to his latest challenge: “After meeting the executive team, learning more about Impact Radius’ advanced technology suite, expedited growth plans, client focused approach, and  desire to expand the Asia Pacific region specifically, I knew I wanted to be part of it.”

Impact Radius has also announced the appointment of its first ever CMO. Scott Brazina will work from the company’s New York base and will oversee the company’s global brand marketing strategy, vision and growth, according to a statement from Impact Radius.

Brazina was previously VP of martech and media for Dyb, an internet performance managemebt company acquired by Oracle in 2016. He also spent time as DataXu’s CMO.
