Rise in Entries to APMA Star Awards 2014

Entries to the APMA Star Awards have increased by 32 per cent on entries from 2013.

The announcement:

Entries to the APMA Star Awards have risen significantly this year, with a 32% increase in entries from 2013.

An additional nine new agencies entered submissions, spanning the specialisms of Experiential, Promotional, Creative, PR, Media, and Digital.

David Lo, Chairman of The Australasian Promotional Marketing Association (APMA), said: “It is fantastic to see such a growing and diverse range of agencies adding to the mix of entries. Our industry is becoming increasingly connected and collaborative in the work we do. Each specialism brings a new approach and way of thinking about promotional and experiential work – I look forward to seeing the level of diversity showcased at this year’s awards.”

Entries across the seventeen categories will be assessed on strategic relevance, originality, creative execution and effectiveness by a panel of industry experts.

Winners will be announced on Thursday 7th August at an awards presentation at the Shangri-La Ballroom, Sydney.
