Robyn Sefiani becomes executive chair of Sefiani Communications Group as Justin Clark promoted to MD
Robyn Sefiani, founder and managing director of Sefiani Communications Group, has become the executive chair of the group and promoted director Justin Clark to the role of managing director, Mumbrella can reveal.
Sefiani, who founded the agency 19 years ago, has become executive chair of the group to focus on providing reputation management counsel to CEOs, boards and chief marketing officers.

Replacing Sefiani as managing director of the group – which includes consumer agency Kite Communications and corporate and financial agency Sefiani Communications – is Clark.
Clark joined Sefiani Communications group as a director in February last year from his previous role as a director at Kreab Worldwide.
In his new role as managing director, Clark will oversee both Sefiani Communications and Kite Communications as well as leading the group’s financial and government practice.
Sefiani said the time is right for a change in leadership, but insisted she is not stepping away from the business and will remain close to the agencies.
“I’m thrilled to be passing the MD baton to Justin, who is a motivating leader and a skilled, strategic communicator who is liked and respected by clients and our people,” she said.
“We have big plans ahead as Sefiani enters its 20th year of successful operations and I look forward to working with Justin on this next exciting phase of our journey.
“I will continue to stay close to the business. I’m not stepping away, just stepping back a little to allow others to progress their careers.
“We have impressive senior bench strength, so Justin will also have the support of my business partners and directors Nick Owens and Sarah Craig, along with our amazing senior leadership team of Karen Dunnicliff, Shane Allison, Lori Susko and Tina Peng.
“This move enables me to build upon Sefiani’s strong track record in issues and crisis management while pursuing my passion helping clients protect and enhance brand and corporate reputations.”
Clark said he is honoured to continue the incredible work Sefiani has done at the agency.

Sefiani Communication Group’s clients include EY (Ernst & Young), Rothschild, HCF, Hotels.com and Northern Trust.
