SATC chosen for Steller and Wagstaff partnership, #LoveWhereYouLive

Steller.co and Wagstaff Media and Marketing have created the #LoveWhereYouLive initiative in support of the South Australian Tourism Commission, a longtime Wagstaff client.

A mobile-first platform dedicated to “travel storytelling” has been developed for the campaign, allowing South Australian operators, influencers and creatives to tell their stories and attract travellers once COVID-19 restrictions have lifted.

“What makes South Australia unique is the state’s artisan offerings – it’s the true Australian experience,” Brent Hill, executive director of marketing at the South Australian Tourism Commission, said.

The mobile platform will showcase South Australia as a tourist destination once COVID-19 travel restrictions are lifted

“Through this partnership, we will be able to share the South Australian experience, digitally, building awareness of our destination while the world recovers, and driving demand domestically and internationally, once we are all able to travel again.”

The SATC was chosen for the inaugural partnership between Steller and Wagstaff due to a tourism industry “fuelled by small operators providing one-of-a-kind wildlife, outback, and wine experiences” and recovering from the impacts of both bushfires and COVID-19.

“It is our hope that in partnership with Steller we can inspire travelers everywhere with an intimate look at what South Australians love, and what will be worth visiting once the doors are re-opened,” Mary Wagstaff said.

CEO of Steller, Pete Bryant, added: “Digital content knows no boundaries, and a good story is never quarantined. With Steller any South Australian can create, discover, save and share stories of favorite places with family, friends, neighbors and the world.”

The #LoveWhereYouLive program will be available to other destinations as they also begin to rebuild domestic tourism.
